When wind, current or depth makes a conventional jig difficult to control, the Hecla Hammer gives anglers the weight, hook gap and big-water profile needed to keep a minnow or soft plastic working in the strike zone.
Its current-cutting head helps maintain bottom contact and allows anglers to fish more vertically when boat speed, current and changing conditions are working against them. Reinforced construction and a beefy wide-gap hook provide the strength and clearance needed for larger baits, aggressive hooksets and the trophy fish these jigs were built to handle.
Lemon Pink Splash combines three proven visibility colors in one aggressive pattern. Its hot-pink back creates a strong silhouette, the orange transition adds contrast and the bright lemon/chartreuse belly gives fish a highly visible strike target. The hammered silver blade adds flash and movement with every lift and drop. Reach for it in stained water, overcast skies, low light or whenever fish need help finding the presentation. It is also an excellent reaction color when active fish are ignoring natural patterns. Charge the Kryptonite Glow finish with sunlight or a UV light for maximum visibility in deeper water and dark conditions.
Choose 3/8 oz for shallower water, lighter current and slower presentations. The 1/2 oz is the most versatile starting point for mixed depths and changing big-water conditions. Use 1 oz for deep water, strong current, wind, larger minnows or 4" to 6" plastics when maximum control and bottom contact matter.
